Gotta love the erginleys. We go to dinner to help fight off the *cough cough* effects of last night's happy hour, and so we stumble into an Italian little hole in the wall around the corner. Best food ever, by the way! Sucks that we've lived so close for almost 2 years and have never been. My new favorite italian food, EVER! You must go to Al Tiramisu in D.C., mmm mmm. (spendy but yummy)
Moving on. I was like mmm I love me some authentic italian food. (despite the fact that it's been 10 years!!! since i was there). Given camila's obsession w/ this country, jdogg has made it his #1 country selection when he pops his flying over the atlantic cherry.
A little under the influence of tasty italian treats, we came home and looked up flights to rome, venice, etc. Done, we bought tickets for next march.
How's that for spontaneous? :P

New camera!!

It's a dream come true, no really! I'm done with school (barring any finals mishaps that I didn't notice) FOREVER and I opened my graduation gift from my very supportive and generous family.

I got my froogle #1 wishlist item...Sony Alpha OK camera with an awesome lens.
I'M SO EXCITED, WAY WAY EXCITED!
Now to figure out how to use this thing :P

I'm off to check out photography classes in the hood.
I'm smelling new hobby, woohoo!

so I said, hey why not?

many glasses of champagne later, we stopped at Nathan's for some sliders, hot dogs, and the healthy mixed greens salad (that was me) :) The crowd was 95% girls dressed to impress, a few boyfriends, husbands, and fiances tagging along (mine included)...and a lot of champagne glasses swirling! Lots of pink and green, sports coats, and preppy galore. So much so, that we're planning our next soiree theme...something like golf pros and tennis hoes or a preppy party a la Zach Morris.
I also bought *another* (eeek!) dress, but I think I'm done celebrating graduation via this endless dress shopping spree! And it's genuinely one of a kind since the designer does trunk shows only and doesn't even sell them online. (Coco to Go - West Coast Clothes by Harriet & Helen Gilmore) Yay for boutique style!
And I got my shoes this afternoon, finally! ...jeremy calls them UFOs, I beg to differ.
